Mystic Grizzly announces sophomore album via Odyzey Music with LP’s lead single, ‘Until Next Time’ ft. Sam Klassik

Good news for the Manifest Gang as its fearless leader Jordan Hoffman now finds a home on Odyzey Music. As the multi-instrumentalist, producer, and DJ behind his Mystic Grizzly alias, Hoffman has been a real force in the Florida bass scene; a state known for driving underground trends and boundary-pushing experimentation in the genre.

No wonder why CloZee would want this jack-of-all-trades musician on her very own imprint! Together, the two tastemakers are gearing up to release Mystic Grizzly’s forthcoming sophomore album, Jaguar Medicine.

Kicking off Hoffman’s full-length project on Odyzey, the Ft. Lauderdale-based artist now delivers the album’s lead single “Until Next Time,” featuring Sam Klassik. Listeners are taken on an otherworldly journey throughout the three-and-a-half-minute number, serving as the perfect teaser to showcase what’s to come on the full album.

Jaguar Medicine is overflowing with Mystic Grizzly’s signature sound, and it’s a drip that’s undoubtedly a perfect union with Odyzey’s tribal-influenced line of bass music. Hoffman infuzes his musical background of guitar, harmonica, ukelele, and drums into a forward-thinking sound design blending psychedelic grime, psybass, glitch hop, and tribal world beats.

Following his 2019 debut album in Satellite Work, Mystic Grizzly’s sophomore follow-up is already shaping up to the boundary-pushing in all the right ways.
