Shlump put his banner sound on full display in ‘Alien Bass’ via Deadbeats
Known for his “Alien Bass Musik” stamp, it seems that Shlump now has his own original track for his banner sound. Entitled “Alien Bass,” out now on Deadbeats, the three-and-a-half-minute track puts the veteran artist’s wonky, wubby dubstep sounds on full display.
With his signature sound that infuses classic dubstep with west coast flavor and otherworldly sound design, Shlump has created a vibrant galaxy of bass that’s filled with forward-thinking nuance and massive waves of low end. “Alien Bass” showcases Shlump’s unique take on the genre.
Shlump, also known as Michael Petzel, has dedicated himself to his music career and has showcased his Alien Bass sound at festival stages such as Bonnaroo, Shambhala, Bass Canyon, and many more. His live sets take audiences on a psychedelic spaceship ride through Shlump’s universe, visiting high-energy devastating supernovas of bass and voyaging into deeper realms filled with the cosmic twinkle of sonic stardust.
