Destructo reveals impressive inaugural line-up for AMF Music Festival
Destructo has surely built a grand following around his DJ moniker, but perhaps Gary Richard’s greatest strength lies in his curating abilities. From Richard’s many HARD-branded events to his wildly successful HOLY SHIP! voyages, the EDM power player has made a name for himself by staying ahead of the curve.
After announcing his split from HARD, Richards spends now his time managing Livestyle’s North American branded festivals. His latest venture marks a return to his stomping grounds in Los Angeles with the first-ever All My Friends Music Festival, set to take place at ROW DTLA, August 18–19.
AMFMF’s debut line-up signals one of Richards’ masterfully curated events to date. With headliners in RL Grime, Gucci Mane, M.I.A., and Jamie XX, the full lineup has now been revealed for an enticing spread of underground hip-hop and dance music, all with the perfect mainstream appeal. Destructo’s closest friends will of course be joining the inaugural billing — Anna Lunoe, Wax Motif, Chris Lake, and Justin Martin, to name a few. In addition, Destructo has handpicked an impressive list of names in Pete Tong, Armand Van Helden, and Claude Vonstroke‘s bass-heavy alter ego, Barclay Crenshaw.
