HARD’s Day of the Dead 2018 line-up has arrived… and it’s not what you’d expect

HARD Events’ premier halloween weekend event, Day Of The Dead (DOTD), hasn’t seen the light of day since 2015 — not since former CEO Gary Richards headed the HARD brand. Now, to pull on the fictional Dr. Frankenstein, “it’s alive.”

Returning from its three year hiatus, the event has been officially re-launched under the Live Nation and Insomniac flags. The event is slated to its original home in downtown LA for one day only, November 3, which is a rather quizzical date given how Halloween will have already passed…. but, alas, who would actually be against extending the all-Hallows eve festivities anyway?

A quizzical day to match the quizzical, albeit massively intriguing, line-up. Spread across two stages, HARD Events welcomes headliners in Justice (Live), who will be delivering their Woman Worldwide set, Die Antwoord, Knife Party, and Cashmere Cat. Joining them will be a heavily techno leaning undercard in Lee Foss b2b Felix da Housecat, Rybo b2b Lukelski, J Philip, Dateless, Playero, and more. With a boutique line-up heavily catered toward the city’s warehouse-going underground tech snobs, it’s clear DOTD is attempting to cater to the tastes of the more mature, less commercial crowd.
