Midweek Mantra Mix 011: ATYYA dives deep into vibrant earth tones and soothing bass

Wednesday is humpday, which not only marks the halfway point between the work week and the coveted weekend, but also Conscious Electronic’s Midweek Mantra Mix (M3). We’ve been scouring the web’s most enlightening bass music mixes that align with our vision, to provide “a conscious way to consume dance music.” M3 spotlights both veteran and up-and-coming bass music artists whose music seeks to raise the vibrations of their collective listener base.

Our next M3 spotlights Canadian producer Tyy Clark, also known as ATYYA. Known for incorporating natural and tribal sounds into his other wordly bass music, ATYYA has made a name for himself playing at transformational music festivals across the world. It’s music that can fit in many categories—perfect for dancing, doing yoga, or relaxing.

The reason we’ve chosen ATYYA for this week’s mix is his meditative, introspective style. As a performer, he is usually fairly quiet on the microphone, opting to let the music speak for itself and allow the listener to become fully immersed. His acclaimed Renew EP delivered on the same theme, mesmerizing audiences with his hypnotic grooves and sprawling ethereal landscapes.

The 51-minute Evolution Mix 2018 continues to grow this realm of transcendental bass music, offering up selections of ATYYA’s own original music as well as a few selections of remixes that other producers have done of his work. It’s obvious that he pours a great amount of intention and compassion into his music, and we’re happy to reflect that in our own values at Conscious Electronic. ATYYA elaborates on that theme in his description of the mix:
