Gramatik unveils 8-track masterpiece, “Re:Coil Pt. II’
Following his hip-hop and electro-funk fused album, SB5, released late last year, Gramatik has been on quite the release spree this year. The Slovenian born, NYC-based electronic producer began the year with “Puff Your Cares Away,” followed by the sultry sax filled “Better Believe It Now,” with Big Gigantic, and most recently teamed up with Anomalie and Waka Flocka Flame on “Requiem For Piece.” Now Gramatik has released the follow-up to his seminal Re:Coil Pt. I, released almost two years ago to the date.
To continue that digitalized saga, Gramatik has shared his newest 8-track project, Re:Coil Pt. II, out now on his very own imprint, Lowtemp Records. The album is chocked full of collaborations from his favorite friends and labelmates, including ProbCause, Kotek, Beat Fatigue, Luxas, Anomalie, and Big Gigantic. From the wonky, guttural sounds of “Vitalik Buterin” and “Better Believe It Now,” to the moving, grooving beats on “Don’t Give Up,” “Don’t Mind It VIP,” and “Funk It VIP,” Gramatik puts his wildly funk-fueled beats and gritty electro flair on full display.
