Jason Ross, Seven Lions, and Emilie Brandt team up on ‘Known You Before’

Jason Ross returns to Ophelia with the third single off his debut studio album, 1000 Faces.

Jason Ross has teamed up with and melodic bass stalwart Seven Lions on their newest piece “Known You Before.” The melodic bass masterpiece, out now on Ophelia Records, marks Ross’ fourth collaboration with label head Seven Lions. Their previous tracks, “Higher Love” and “Ocean,” have both been massive hits in the trance and bass worlds respectively. The two are fresh off their performances at Dreamstate SoCal where they teased the track and Seven Lions debuted his new psytrance project with Dimibo called Abraxis.

They’ve also enlisted vocalist Emilie Brandt for heartfelt lyrics that perfectly compliments the producer pair’s euphonious sounds. While the track leads with an energizing bass-heavy intro, Emilie Brandt breaks it down with longing and alluring lyrics before the track culminates in an intoxicating blend of driving bass and melancholic chords. With Ross’ debut album to release January 24 and his accompanying 22-city headline tour in February, “Known You Before” will be a mainstay in sets as he continues to pave his way cross-genre as a leader in multiple scenes.
