Promo Spotlight: Lune Rouge Entertainment selects Dallas for U.S. premiere of new immersive pop-up pyramid

Given how music opens the connection to the soul, artists and their fanbases must represent the body. Promotional companies, then, are the heartbeat of the music industry. These are the local street teams, the social media hustlers, the business negotiators, the backstage bookers and talent scouters — all working tirelessly at their tiers with management teams, venues, press, and so on to bring fans their favorite music. However, promotional companies often get overlooked by music goers, outshined by big names and line-ups. They don’t much care for the spotlight though, and they definitely don’t do it for the money. They do it all for the love of music.

That’s why CE is proud to present our Promo Spotlight series, where we scour the United States for local promotional companies to shine a light on the people working behind the scenes of music. They are, for all intents and purposes, music’s beating life force.

Dallas, Texas is about to be temporary home to a new pop-up tech-focused entertainment venue imagined by Guy Laliberté, a co-founder of Cirque Du Soleil.

Called PY1, the 81-foot-tall pyramid-shaped structure set up at Globe Life Park on New Year’s Eve 2019 and will stay through the end of February 2020 before continuing on its tour. It had previously played Montreal, Canada, during the summer of 2019 before heading to Arlington for its US premiere.

Put on by Lune Rouge Entertainment, PY1 offers two shows: Through the Echoes and Stella — The Time Machine Journey.

Through the Echoes is the first custom multimedia production for the pyramid that’s suitable for guests 12 and up. Featuring lasers, 360-degree projections, kinetic stage elements, special effects, and grandiose lightscapes, this one of-a-kind multimedia show transports you on technological odyssey through space and time.

Stella – The Time Machine Journey is a new show for the entire family (ages 5 and up), and is a participatory multimedia show that encourages kids and their families to move and dance in the biggest time machine ever built.

Tickets for both shows and the themed nights are currently available on Ticketmaster, with corporate and group pricing available. Take an extra 20 percent off both peak and non-peak performances of all Through the Echoes shows by using the code 20PY1 online.

On Saturday evenings, PY1 Nights takes over the pyramid, transforming the venue into a gigantic dance floor enhanced by projections, theatrical moments, and the sounds of  internationally renowned DJs. Guests will be invited to express their creativity by dressing the part.

PY1 Nights launched on New Years Eve with Nicole Moudaber at the helms. Upcoming acts include Destructo this Saturday, January 11.

VIP and floor tables are also available starting at $1,000. All attendees of these themed events must be 21 and up.
