Get comfy with the Farmily during Shambhala At Home 2020: CloZee, ill.Gates, Claptone, Boogie T, & many more

As Canada’s premier independent electronic music festival, Shambhala has been standing apart for decades. In addition to their cutting-edge harm reduction program, which has gained notoriety across the world, the British Columbia-based yearly event curates incredible boutique line-ups year after year. So when Shambhala joined the laundry list of 2020 festivals that were forced to cancel their gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it truly hit a nerve for loyal gaggle of “Farmily” residents.

While the 2020 event was pushed into late-July, to account for Canada’s dry first fire season, Shambhala organizers had released this year’s all-star line-up just before the virus hit America hard. Now, thankfully, they’ve retained many of the artists originally slated to hit the forest-filled stages for Shambhala At Home, the festival’s very first virtual festival taking place July 23-25, 2020.

“Everyone is welcome, so come as you are and allow your unique, beautiful self to shine,” says Shambhala organizers in a statement. “It’s time to let loose, get weird, and have the time of your life! Shine your light and share it with the world. Now more than ever, we need to care for and lift each other up. It’s all about the people on the dancefloor!”

Shambhala At Home will showcase over 40 artists, performers, and workshops, including bass music all-stars like CloZee, Boogie T, Chee, ill.Gates, Stylust, Dirtwire, and more. Also joining in the live stream action are veterans Dr. Fresch, Mija, Maddy O’Neal, Claptone, The Gaslamp Killer, and DJ Jazzy Jeff, along with jam-centric acts Balkan Bump and Defunk, and Farmily favorites like Mat The Alien.

The statement continues, “Somewhere over the rainbow, Shambhala Music Festival awaits the grand return of the Farmily to the Salmo River Ranch. Until that time, the magic of our shared experiences will continue to fuel the ‘Shambhalove’ that we take into each and every day. Believe in the power of nature. Believe in the power of synchronicity. Believe in all the moments in between. Never forget, you are HOME.”
