No one does it quite like REZZ. The midtempo maven has managed to rise to the top of the ranks in a matter of several years. It’s a feat which is all but impossible in today’s oversaturated world of dance music, especially for a female artist, which REZZ goes into depth over in a new indie documentary that she stars in. This month, REZZ would have been hosting her third annual REZZ ROCKS show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre had COVID-19 not had different plans for 2020. In place of what would have been an out-of-this-world live performance, the so-called “Space Mom” has given her cult fanbase a nice little consolatory compensation. That is, her full live performance from last year’s REZZ ROCKS, which took place on September 19, 2019.
The live recorded video marks the first time the Neptune goddess has unleashed the entire set with full professional videography. So fans can relive the experience with exclusive close-ups, scenic views of the crowd, and epic dissolves that place REZZ right on top of the crowd as she leads them into her soul-snatching trance. Of course, many fans were expecting the video to be released eventually given how REZZ released her very first Red Rocks performance in 2018. Whether you were there live and in-person soaking in her heavy, hypnotic beats firsthand or you were merely longing to take part in the 2019 experience online, here is your chance!
REZZ ROCKS III has been rescheduled for next year, September 21, 2021. Tickets are on sale here.
