EDM crossover giant Skrillex is officially back on the saddle. After releasing two new singles last month, “Butterflies” with Four Tet and Starrah and the hip-hop-adjacent pop-punk song “Too Bizarre” with  Swae Lee and Siiickbrain, now the OWSLA don officially makes his return with his third new release of 2021. Titled “Supersonic (My Existence),” the track calls on Noisia, josh pan, and Dylan Brady for its collaborative star power.

Initially derived out of josh pan and Dylan Brady’s 2019 OWSLA released LP, This Car Needs Some Wheels, the release was first ushered in on New Year’s Eve during Noisia’s Northern Bass Festival in New Zealand. It was initially branded a remix only up until the former’s Instagram update, the now original utilizes a half-time D’n’B tempo with Skrillex and Noisia filling out the song’s original vocal cut with their signature sounds.

On the new release, josh pan offers a haunting, spectral vocal performance that weaves between the searing production work of Skrillex and collaborators Dutch producer-trio Noisia along with an original contribution by 100 gecs’ Dylan Brady. Stream “Supersonic (My Existence)” below.
