SoundCloud Go+ is now integrated with Virtual DJ software
In SoundCloud‘s ongoing effort to be the top platform for creators, the German-based music streaming company has announced its integration with Virtual DJ. Virtual DJ is a software program which provides instant BPM beat matching, synchronized sampler, scratch, automatic seamless loops, and more to music mixers and creators. Now, per a press release from SoundCloud, the company is “giving its DJ community another way to take their workflow to the next level” on their quest to be “the world’s largest open audio platform.”
Features of the new tool include access to download and log into Virtual DJ 8 online, which allows music creators the ability to access saved SoundCloud playlists, as well as search, mix, and stream from SoundCloud’s massive catalogue. The service is only available to SoundCloud Go+ members, the top-tier membership starting at $9.99/month.
The news comes on the heels of a 2018 ADE keynote conference where CEO Kerry Trainor announced they were partnering with Native Instruments, Serato, Virtual DJ, DEX3, Mixvibes, and DJuced/Hercules. Since then, SoundCloud has introduced features like Serato integration, rights clearances with Dubset, Soundcloud Premier Distribution, and now Virtual DJ integration.
Stay tuned for additional launches with DEX3, Native Instruments, Mixvibes and Hercules coming later this year.
