When DROELOE posted to social media recently with the intent to “divide and conquer,” fans became weary that the duo was splitting up. As they stated over Twitter, “After 4 years of being on this wild roller-coaster ride called DROELOE together its time to turn over a new leaf, divide & conquer and reach our maximum potential.”
Thankfully, they’ve come forth to clarify any confusion: “Hein is going to expand the DROELOE visual universe from home, while Vincent will continue touring and making music like he always has.”
To show fans they aren’t parting ways, the pair have just released an absolutely stunning remix of Petit Biscuit‘s “We Were Young” that will stop listeners in their tracks. The release follows DROELOE’s team up with Zeds Dead last month on the track, “Stars Tonight.” The duo has added quite the nice twist to Petit Biscuit’s hit album single by adding their own signature snares, toy box synths, and chilling chords. It’s a more upbeat, funky version of the original which is equally as cinematic and feel-good.
