When Isabelle Rezazadeh, the starry-eyed Canadian DJ from Niagara Falls, Ontario, first signed on with mau5trap, little did she know she would become a force-to-be-reckoned in the dance music world. Surely, REZZ had the work ethic, and not to mention the backing as deadmau5‘s protegé, to be great. Her debut album, 2017’s Mass Manipulation, would catapult her into the EDM spotlight. The following year came her sophomore full-length, Certain Kind of Magic, which saw REZZ break from mau5trap to establish her very own imprint.
After signing with RCA Records earlier this year, and delivering two explosive remixes of Melanie Martinez and Porter Robinson, Rezazadeh has officially announced that she is working on a third studio album. Not much is known of the forthcoming project, beyond a recent tweet from Space Mom, but it’s wonderful news nonetheless. Fans haven’t seen a REZZ album since 2018, so this news has certainly lit a fire within the ranks of dance music.
REZZ’s last cohesive project was her 2019 EP, Beyond The Senses, which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard charts.
