Hypnotic melodies abound as Champagne Drip & LINNEY make their way onto Wakaan for a surprising release, ‘In My Dreamz’

If there’s one thing fans have come to expect from Champagne Drip, it’s to count on the unexpected! Following his joint WAKAAN release with G-REX with “Cold Case” in May of 2021, Champagne Drip is now primed for his surprise return to the coveted label headed by Liquid Stranger. To mark the unexpected, the Los Angeles-based producer (whose real name is Sam Pool) has enlisted the hypnotizing vocal talents of fellow Los Angeles resident LINNEY for their pop-driven melodic bass gem, titled “In My Dreamz.”

Clocking in at exactly three-and-a-half minutes, this euphonious single serves as the lead track to his forthcoming five-track Champagne Trip EP and massive accompanying 50+ date tour across North America. Despite the pop-leaning vibrances for “In My Dreamz,” listeners should still expect his Champagne Trip EP to contain the dangerous bass energies Champagne Drip is widely known and adored for. With the perfect balance between producer and performer, an overall sound design that is crisp, and a vocal element that is both gorgeous and methodical, “In My Dreamz” packs a powerful punch to all who listen.

The single if part of Pool’s larger EP project, titled Champagne Trip, which will release on Wakaan later this year along with a nation-wide tour. While several locations are yet to be announced, the tour begins on August 13 in Fort Lauderdale and ends on December 18 in Fargo. Other cities in this 50+ date tour include Orlando, New Orleans, Houston, Boston, among other major cities. Many stops feature direct support from WAKAAN talents such as DMVU, Jaenga, MIZE, Sully, or VEIL. Champagne Drip will also be making stops at events and festivals such as Lost Lands, Nocturnal Wonderland, Imagine Festival, REZZ ROCKS, and more.
