San Holo third ‘stay vibrant single’ gives fans gentle reminder, ‘dont forget to breathe today’

San Holo has been keeping himself busy in quarantine. He’s not only fresh off a stunning remix package for his collaboration with Broods lead singer, Georgia Nott, “Honest.” The bitbird boss is also hosting his fans live on Twitch every week, all while releasing a new track as part of his stay vibrant collection. The collection is a series of one-off singles that San Holo doesn’t necessarily intend to be an EP or LP release, but nonetheless, all deserve to be listened to.

Last week’s track, “(if only i could) hold you,” signaled blissful future bass ballad featuring San Holo’s skillful work on the electric guitar.  Landing as the second vibrant release for fans in quarantine comes an aptly-titled tune, “dont forget to breath today.” The track is a meditative indie gem that showcases San Holo’s soaring sound design, with its bouncy synth line, chiming overtones, and sweeping arrangements. As the song progresses through lo-fi textures and soft guitar riffs, listeners are granted with a clam, confident sense of reflection and gratitude. Surely, that was San Holo’s goal all along.
