RÜFÜS DU SOL, Bassnectar, Vampire Weekend, Mumford & Sons, more will headline Okeechobee’s 2020 return
After taking a brief hiatus in 2019, Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is returning to Sunshine Grove for a full four-day weekend, March 5-8, 2020. The Soundslinger-operated spring break festival grew quite big for its own britches over its first three years. When news began to spread that the company had folded, Insomniac Events came to the rescue and the now-partnered event has set its permanent footprint into South Florida’s musical culture.
Okeechobee’s fourth installment will come with ample electronic and multi-genre acts in tow, with crowd-favorite Bassnectar returning for his fourth year atop the line-up. RÜFÜS DU SOL will also grace the opening night headliners, after a monumental touring life has catapulted them straight into American dance music fame. Vampire Weekend and Mumford & Sons round off the weekend, making for a fully diverse line-up meant to attract all kinds of musical tastes.
Also shaping out the star-studded line-up are Kaskade, Big Gigantic, Tipper, Bob Moses, Glass Animals, Arizona, Phantoms, Alison Wonderland, San Holo, and Said The Sky. Bass music is extremely well represented with Ivy Lab, Mersiv, Yheti, Thriftworks, G-SPACE, Huxley Anne, Supertask, G JONES, LSDREAM, Charlesthefirst, and more gracing the first phase line-up. Of course, it wouldn’t be an Insomniac event without a Bassrush takeover, which will feature the legendary Caspa on opening night.
Okeechobee will take place next March 5-8, 2020. All ticket and camping passes will be on sale beginning Friday, October 18 at 10am ET.
